Spray Chalk Kids Activity

This chalk is actually really fun! You can spray the chalk on the sidewalk or driveway and yes, it comes off with water! You only need a few ingredients for this spray chalk recipe and it only takes a few minutes to make!

Ingredients:

6 tablespoons of Cornstarch

3 cups of water

10 drops of food coloring

How To:

Mix the ingredients in a bowl, then pour them in a spray bottle.

Spray the chalk on the sidewalk! To avoid clumping in the bottle, shake before using.

*Tip: Look for spray bottles at the dollar store or in the laundry section of Walmart.

Idea: place white papers on the sidewalk and make some art to hang in the house!

Paleo Breakfast Stacks

Breakfast stacks are the breakfasts of champions. So simple to make and will keep you full long into lunchtime! Using a mason jar lid makes it easy to keep everything perfectly round so it stacks easily!

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 breakfast sausage patties
  • 1 avocado, mashed
  • kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 large eggs
  • chives, for garnish
  • Hot sauce, if desired

DIRECTIONS

  • Heat breakfast sausage according to instructions on box.
  • Mash avocado onto breakfast sausage and season with salt and pepper.
  • Spray a medium skillet over medium heat with cooking spray, then spray the inside of a mason jar lid. Place mason jar lid in center of skillet and crack an egg inside. Season with salt and pepper and let cook 3 minutes until whites are set, then remove lid and continue cooking.
  • Place egg on top of mashed avocado. Garnish with chives and drizzle with your favorite hot sauce.

These simple cookies are so easy to make and always end up looking so perfect! We can't believe how much they actually remind us of Earth and your kids will love making them for Earth Day!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (17.5-oz.) bag sugar cookie mix, plus ingredients called for on package
  • 6 Blue and green food coloring

DIRECTIONS: 

  • Preheat oven to 375º and line two baking sheets with parchment. Prepare sugar cookie mix according to package directions. Place about 1/4 of dough in one bowl and dye green using green food coloring until desired color is reached. Dye remaining dough blue until desired color is reached. 
  • Pull out pieces from each color and start shaping into a 1" ball, patching if necessary to create an Earth effect.
  • Place cookie dough onto prepared baking sheets and bake 8 to 9 minutes, or until edges are set (try to prevent browning).
