FAQ - Kids Fitness Trackers Trendy Pup edition

Your tracker is charged by USB and can be plugged directly into any USB socket on a computer, phone/tablet charger, or power bank. Since the USB charging is so standard and widely available to the customers, we took this as an opportunity to use the space in the pack for more valuable items (Trendy Pup, stickers, craft, etc).
The MOST COMMON charging problems are:
1. The two gold-colored charging connectors on the charger are not touching the two metal spots on the Tracker.
Please adjust the position of the Tracker until you see a battery sign flash for a couple of seconds on the screen.
2. The computer that you are using for charging is not plugged in for charging or in a sleep mode.
Please make sure your computer is on and charging or try a different USB charging source.

- Make sure that your device meets the minimum requirements of Apple iOS 8 or above, Android 5 or above.
- Make sure your device has Bluetooth switched on.
- While searching for your tracker during set up within the app, ensure that your Tracker’s display is on and close to your phone.
If you are still unable to pair your tracker to your device within the App then please do the following exactly as instructed:
- Delete the Application (TrendyYouPro, TrendyYouPlus, JYouPro) from your phone.
- Open the Bluetooth settings on your phone and delete/forget all ID115 trackers listed
- Restart your phone/tablet.
- Ensure your phone/tablet’s Bluetooth is switched on.
- Reinstall the App and run through the setup.
To switch between the 3 available watch faces, long press (2-3 seconds) the touch key for a couple of seconds to see the smart watch switch from one screen to another.
We have made an easy to follow video that shows how to make the popup card that was included in the package. Your kids will have a blast following along and seeing their own puppy move ears!
The Tracker does not need to be near the phone to get a previously configured reminder or alarm.
That said, you do need the phone to be close to the Tracker while you are setting up the alarms and reminders.
Also, please remember to synchronize your Trendy Pup Tracker with the App before exiting the app. To do so, tap a refresh sign on the Home Application screen. Once the sync up status reached 100%, your settings are enabled on the Tracker and you no longer need to be close to the phone for the alarm to go off.
The time on the Tracker will adjust automatically as soon as you install the Application on your smart phone and run through the binding/connection steps. If you need to change the time due to travel or seasonal time changes, start the App and tap a refresh sign on the Home application screen.
What should I do if the time changed due to Daylight Saving Time and the Tracker is still showing the old time?
Start the App (TrendyYouPro, TrendyYouPlus, JyouPro) and let the App synchronize with the Tracker. To speed up the process, you may tap the refresh sign in the top right corner of the Main/Home Application screen. You should see the sync up status reach 100% and the time will align with your phone.
Please keep in mind that the Tracker needs to be in a close proximity while you change any settings or enable/disable any functions on the Application.
Also before exiting the App, please remember to synchronize the Trendy Pup Tracker with the App.
To do so, please tap a refresh sign on the Main/Home Application screen. Once you see that the sync up status reached 100%, you can rest assured that your new settings are enabled on the Tracker.
The Tracker gets the information about the messages from your phone. To do so, it needs to be in a Bluetooth range.
In the described case, the Trendy Pup Tracker was likely out of the range and therefore did not receive the message notification.

The exact height and weight is important for the precision of the step count. So, please make sure to set it up correctly in the App.
Also, please keep the band tight on the wrist to improve the precision of the health measurements.
In addition, we recommend holding the hand wearing the Tracker at the heart level while measuring the blood pressure.
The TRENDY PRO Fitness Tracker is a smart device with multiple features, like notifications, reminders, alarms, etc. that are managed using a smart phone application.
Therefore, we highly recommend setting up your child’s Tracker on your phone to take advantage of these features.
You can sync up to 2 Trendy Pup Trackers to a parent's cell, using different applications:
Apple App Store for Apple-based phones:
Google Play for Android-based phones:
Set up the 1st device on TrendyYouPlus or TrendyYouPro:
- Pick one of the Trackers keeping the other one out of the range.
- Ensure your phone/tablet’s Bluetooth is on.
- Install the App (TrendyYouPlus or TrendyYouPro)
- Bind to the first Fitness Tracker device. You should be able to see ID115 from the device list to complete the binding process.
- Run through the rest of the set up as prompted.
If you are not sure which to the devices to connect to, you can check the Device serial number on your Tracker screen. Continue pressing the Touch Key on the Tracker until you reach the screen marked with an exclamation mark (!)
Set up of the 2nd Tracker on the same phone using JYouPro App:
- Install the JYouPro App
Repeat the steps as per the above.

I walked a couple of steps but the tracker is not showing any steps on the screen. Why is it not counting every step?
The Tracker is a smart device that identifies motion based on the position. The algorithm is designed to be able to determine whether the person is making steps or just waving hands. Therefore the step count may show up on the screen in batches, not step by step. You may even see the step count to drop if the Tracker determines that the overall behavior suggests that the person was not moving.

My daughter wants to see her route that she walks during gym at school but she doesn’t have a phone during school. Does the device have to be near the phone at all times to show the GPS route she walked?
The phones that are designed for stand-alone GPS functionality have a slot for a sim-card with an ongoing monthly charge to enable the GPS function.
Our Trendy Pup is designed to leverage the phone's GPS functionality, which is more cost-effective, however, this comes at a cost of the inconvenience as you need to have the phone handy.
